LENJEX Project Record

Vacuum Solvent Cleaning for a US Aerospace Component Maker

A precision aerospace manufacturer selected vacuum solvent cleaning for blind-hole parts and vacuum drying.

LocationArizona, USA
IndustryAerospace Component Manufacturing
EquipmentLJ-V300 vacuum ultrasonic cleaner
Commissioned2025

Project Context

Blind holes and documented cleanliness

The manufacturer produced tight-tolerance fuel and valve components with blind holes that retained solvent and moisture, and the customer required documented particle and residue results.

Before LENJEX

Drying and traceability

Aqueous drying left moisture in blind holes, and the previous process was difficult to document.

  • Trapped moisture in blind holes
  • Need for documented cycles
  • High-value parts, no manual scraping
  • Particle limits at inspection

Cleaning Solution

Sealed vacuum wash and drying

The LJ-V300 ran vacuum wash, vapor and vacuum drying with a compatible hydrocarbon solvent, and distillation recovered the media.

Process settings were recorded to support traceability and inspection.

Project Outcomes

Cleaning results and process improvements

Performance depends on the workpiece, contamination, chemistry, loading method and acceptance criteria.

  1. Result 01Blind holes cleaned and dried without moisture
  2. Result 02Documented cycles for the customer record
  3. Result 03Low solvent consumption through distillation
  4. Result 04Particle and residue checks accepted
