Benchtop cleaning for flux and rosin

LENJEX Solution Center

Flux & Rosin Removal

Removes flux, rosin and ionic residues from soldered circuit boards with controlled frequency and compatible chemistry.

Overview

Post-solder cleaning

Flux residues affect reliability.

After soldering, flux and rosin can leave visible films and ionic residues that cause corrosion, leakage and poor coating adhesion. Ultrasonic cleaning reaches under components and between leads to remove these residues consistently.

A compatible de-flux cleaning solution and controlled energy protect the assembly, followed by complete drying. See electronics and PCB cleaning.

Process Considerations

De-flux decisions

Chemistry and component compatibility first.

Recommended Route

A de-flux route

Validated with the actual board.

  1. IdentifyIdentify flux type and components
  2. WashUltrasonic wash with de-flux chemistry
  3. RinseRinse with compatible media
  4. DryDry thoroughly under components
  5. VerifyCheck ionic and visible residues
